I invite you to come spend a day in my mind,
Come walk the pathways that twist and wind,
From the highest cliffs to the deepest
caves,
Come sail the placid lakes and stormy
waves,
Stop at the museum, visit the amusement
park,
There are rooms full of the interesting and
the strange,
A room where one half is light and the
other half, dark,
A room filled with colours that always
swirl and change,
Spend some time in the library, read the
books,
Explore all the crannies and all the nooks
At the very end of the day,
I will make sure you find the way,
The path that takes you home,
Then, the paths you took, I will roam,
I will visit all the places you’ve been,
I will look at all the things you’ve seen,
I will write your name on every tier,
To make sure I remember that you were here.
