With silken threads I am caught
Struggling against them will not help me
aught,
My emotions, everything I feel,
Make those threads as strong as steel
Unintentionally I wove these strands,
Unswervingly I tied my own hands,
Unknowingly I gave my freedom away
Now I dance to someone else’s sway
One person can set me free
One person holds the key
But I dare not ask this boon
Lest the dream end too soon
